4. Efficiency is the key. This is one of the most important business values of all. You need to think of the problem from every possible angle, make an informed decision and act quickly. Also, you need to consider the best way which uses as little of the available resources as possible.

5. Act responsibly. This is one of the business values which you should respect as it builds up your integrity and it will assure your partners and colleagues that you are indeed a man of character. If you screw up, take full responsibility of all your actions. Don’t try to slip it under the rug or pinning the blame on one of your subordinates. That would scream of cowardice.

6. Loyal, but sharp. One of the business values which should never be neglected is loyalty. If you work in a firm, respect your employer enough as to never reflect badly on him, even if you don’t agree with some of his policies. Until you move on to another place of work, you are not supposed to allow yourself to be subjective. If you are the employer, your loyalty lies with your customers and you should always try to serve to their best interest. However, pay attention to the partners you invest all that time and energy into and constantly make sure they are still on your side.

7. Have the constant craving to improve. Always check out for the latest developments in your field because science and technology evolve every day and you must keep an ear to the ground just in case. Something might come up that might change the way you feel about your whole line of work. Also, if you have the chance, take part in as many coaching seminars and team buildings as you can. These always bring fresh ideas to one’s mind and help you never get clotted.

8. Release your creativity. Your imagination and your creativity are the most wonderful things you own.
