How To Change Your Life For The Better
Change is the only constant thing in life. The only thing that defies change is truth and truth is God. The world is created on a basic fact – change. The world today is different from how it was 2000 years ago. Therefore change is a natural phenomenon – humans, plants, and other animals change in different ways. So, the subject of changing your life for the better is a basic human life condition. Why do people change? People change for different reasons, aside from the natural injunction that is. In discussing this topic different types/sources of change will be defined in combination with other very relevant issues touching matters like: “changing your life for the better”.
Change defined: Change is not a mysterious subject. It is one subject that almost everyone can reckon with. For the basis of building a good foundation for easy comprehension the definition of change will be supplied as thus: Change is defined as the deliberate transition of habit and nature which can either be permanent or temporary. The Webster’s dictionary defines it as “making or becoming different”. Inasmuch as, the definition is true, it however, ignores a hub of change: Change is a thing of choice. No one can force anyone to change. Change in humans comes after evaluation and cognitive process. It does not happen by chance and it must be triggered by a need for it. But, change base on the “nature” perspective is enforced, preordained. Example: change that takes place in human development. Each process of human development is marked by distinctive changes. For instance, the habit of a five year old is different from that of a 1 year old. And that is due to physiological, psychological, spiritual, and mental changes. Another example of how nature compels change is seen in the evolution of the world. The world metamorphosed through three significant phases: prehistoric, ancient, and modern era: each having a feature distinctive to it. With this definition you are equipped to know the steps that are required in changing your life for the better.
Why do people change? From the above explanation if you are observant you will spot two types of change. One is human or personal change motive, while the second one is the naturally enforced change. In discussing why people change the former motive is on focus.
People change because they want to: Change is a personal thing: no one can force you to change except you want to. And it is determined by: dissatisfaction, taste, fashion, economy, job, relationship, experiences (negative or positive), trend (electronic, invention/discoveries etc), policies and so many other things. Since the factors that necessitate changes in humans are so many, humankind is hence placed on a consistent changing condition. No matter the factor that triggers your change, one thing is constant: the motive could be for good or bad, and it can also be permanent or temporary. Example: if you are a smoker and you wish to adopt the changing your life for the better syndrome and transit from a smoker to a non smoker. That is good right? What if after three week or three months you cave in to the urge to smoke? The condition is temporary. But if you successfully kicked it out of your system that is permanent change.
