You may not believe this but if you fake it, people will see it through you. 8.      Empathy- Empathy is one of the strong points among the 10 characteristics and qualities of good leader. Sympathy is hated by a receiver but empathy and a good EQ level shows the maturity of a leader. To be empathic you need to be a good listener and hence listening to someone shows that you care. For you need people to support you, you need to support them. 

9.      Wisdom- Wisdom does come with age, but that gained so far and some given by elders around you is what you must pay heed to. Wisdom also translating to experience can teach you a lot and also prevent any future mistakes.  A smart leader will always heed wisdom.

 

10. Confidence- In your perspective, thought, speech, body language, exuberant confidence has to project. Mind you there is a difference between confidence and arrogance. Confidence to some extent also comes from self capability and believing in you. If you want to stand out as a leader boost your confidence over time by proving your hard work to yourself.
