Dealing With Anxiety


You can call it by the name of stress, worry, concern or anxiety. It is very common problem in all the human beings. It punches us everyday in diverse levels concerning almost every manner. Anxiety drives us to do important changes into our lives. Anxiety gives us motivation to take proper action to come out of danger. This danger can be emotional or physical, from not doing well in an interview, losing a friend and many more. But in this context, the feeling of anxiety is healthy and important, without this feeling we may not take action for our best interest. Following are some basic guidelines made for the people who are suffering from too much feeling of anxiety.

Be Careful of your wishes: We give ideas the superior power, when we start thinking about something deeply and strongly. In some appearance, there becomes the great possibility to these ideas to turn up. If we start worrying too much about making a mistake, the chances get increased of committing some. Therefore we need to be careful about our thoughts. Always remember the power of thoughts. Don’t worry about any negative action or event; instead focus on the typical and tough situations and the tricks and tactics you could use to deal with certain problem. Precisely, if something is going on in your mind, then think the positive about it. If you would give space to the negative thoughts, then it might make a place in your life in reality. So, think positive and be optimistic.

 

Analyze the Situation: Analyzing the situation is another approach to deal with anxiety, whether the situation actually deserves the anxiety or worry. If you are worrying about your project you submitted in the office and you are afraid of the reaction of your seniors, it means you do not have confidence in yourself and you are developing the wrong motives for your seniors. In this way, you are just seeding a seed of doubt in your mind for no reason. By analyzing the problem, you can very easily step back from the anxiety.

 

Hold up your Anxiety: This is the simplest and plain technique to deal with anxiety. If you are worrying for anything, try to place the situation on the next day. E.g. you can tell yourself that ‘I will worry for this tomorrow, it does not make any sense thinking about this issue today’. You can follow this technique whenever any kind of problem occurs in your mind; just delay your worries and anxiety. It is a fact that most of the anxieties and worries never happen. Holding them up is a clever and tricky way to deal with this. Our nature of mind forces us to make problems and issues to think about, but this is a clever way to forget these anxieties. Keep avoiding your useless worries and anxieties and then later on you will realize that it is not going to happen in your life.

Take Action: Too much anxiety over issues makes us paralysed by fear. Instead of getting worried for these issues, think carefully about the best action you can take at the moment to ignore the issue. E.g. if you have anxiety about your finances, then just note down all your expenditure and plan out each and everything to reduce useless expenditure, think of the best positive ways to increase your income and combine your debt. If your anxiety does not leave you and you feel helpless for the problem, then at once take proper best action and start working in the direction of a resolution to get rid of this anxiety. But there are many problems into our lives, which cannot be ignored, they need certain action. But the best would be to realize that you cannot do anything, and then it would be the best reason to end your anxiety.

 

Stress Scale: You are required to build a stress scale. When you will rate the things you are feeling anxiety for on the stress scale, you will possibly notice that some things do not deserve the anxiety actually. Keeping things in standpoint will make your day simpler. So, in order to make yourself happy and cheerful and to get away from this feeling, you should build a stress scale for yourself. Examine the anxiety and worries, examine the facts carefully that how much your worry and anxiety can affect your life.

 

We waste too much time thinking about things that will most probably never happen. These anxieties and worries make our lives difficult and complicated. Keep reminding about the solutions you opted in the future. You can even join some Stress Management Classes for a while. You can do some meditation regularly. You are advised to implement above discussed simple techniques, and you can very easily deal with anxiety, and would be free to enjoy your life. But if you still feel anxiety constantly then you need to talk to someone, it can be either a friend or family member or a professional consultant. Then it can be diagnosed so well that how serious your anxiety is.

    It's true that anxiety kills the body sooner. Regular practice of Meditation, Pranayama Yoga makes the person mentally strong so that he can fight with day to day problems easily without making himself anxious and stressful.
