Feeling of guilt can be good as well as bad, it all depends on our skills how we handle this. Find the good in whatever happened.
Finally, when you take all the proper action to deal with guilty, then one most important thing you need to do is to forgive yourself. Forgiving yourself does not excuse you, but it allows you to move ahead with confidence. Once you take action against your guilt, forgiveness becomes easier. Although, sometimes whether directly or indirectly we do certain things that harms others, but it does not mean that you are a bad person, or you do not deserve forgiveness.
