Finding Dream Job – Few Options And Examples
I always wondered what the dream job might be, and I bet you have too. I think every dream job has to fulfill some criteria: It must be fun, it must be easy, and it should take up most of your day. I am convinced that most of you out there are thinking right now how happy you are at your current jobs, and what was it you wanted to become when you where little. Your dream job, when you are little of course, somehow always seems to revolve around being a ballerina if you are a girl and being a football player if you are a boy. But let’s see what some dream jobs might look like now:
1. Wine taster. I think I will have few objections when I say that this just might be the best job ever. Basically all you have to do is drink wine all day, and you get paid for it. Sounds amazing. Actually you don’t get to drink a lot of wine, just a sip from every glass, and after you reach two whole glasses than you have to stop. But still it beats standing in front of the computer al day. Another problem is that you have to be genetically blessed to get this job, because people who get hired to do this job have more taste buds than the rest of us and more sensitive noses.
2. Another dream job is hotel critic. Basically all you have to do is go from one hotel to the next and enjoy. Scribbling down what you licked and what you hated doesn’t seem to be a big deal when you actually get paid to go on vacation, so for me this is a dream job.
3. Chocolate taster. Well it falls in the same category with the first dream job. It seems to be the perfect job, you get to eat chocolate all day, all you have to do is watch out for those extra pounds, but you do have to be genetically blessed with a great sense of taste in order to get hired.
4. Toy creator. What could more fun than creating the perfect toy you where dreaming of as a child. It seems like something everybody would want to do. It seems silly that your job description would involve lots of playing with toys, but what could be more fun?
5. Stand-up comic. I have to admit that this may not seem at all like a dream job for a lot of people, primarily because public speaking is the thing most people are afraid off. But it still beats working in an office. All you have to do is go out to a club, get on stage, tell a few jocks, and there you are, the dream job. Of course there is pressure, because sometimes people don’t find you funny, but overall it seems like a very fun job.
6. Astronaut. This is something that most kids say when they are little. They want to become an astronaut. Somehow, being catapulted into outer space inside a metal box, an aerodynamic metal box to be more accurate, strapped to two giant rockets, seems to be a dream job. And let’s not forget the growling and exhausting training and tests you have to go thru to even be considered for the job. But I think that the possibility of seeing the Earth from outer space is just something incredible, and for that, with all its short comings, I would still name this a dream job.
7. Race driver. Another little boy fantasy. Nothing seems to be more exciting than the thrill of sheer speed. And if you are any good at it and get to compete in some important events, then don’t worry about money any more, cause you will see a lot of it coming your way. Plus it’s always fun to know that you have a whole team of people, who’s only goal is to make you go even faster. For me, this definitely seems like a dream job.
Well, this was my list, but I’m sure you have your own, so don’t be afraid to follow your dreams. Who knows, you might just end up doing what you always wanted to do. Of course, nothing in life is easy so, to get to your dream job where you will mostly do nothing all day and get paid very well for it, you will probably have to work real hard unless you are extraordinarily gifted. And also, I think that actually there is no universal dream job, something that absolutely everyone would love to do because we are all different and we all have different tastes. So I think that a dream job is something you love to do, even if it involves a lot of hard work.
