Gift Ideas For Groomsmen

The big day of your wedding is coming and you still haven’t found the perfect gift idea for groomsmen? Well in this following article, I ill try to make a few suggestions. Hopefully they will be helpful, because with everything else going on, finding the right photographers, setting up the venue, getting the right tuck, worrying about groomsmen’s gift should be the last thing on your mind. Of course the best gifts are the ones that are personalized, but if you’re in hurry, and can’t think of anything specific try out some of these ideas. Remember, the gesture is more important than the actual gift so don’t make a very big deal out of these gifts and focus on your wedding. So, here are some tried and tested gift ideas for groomsmen:

·        A fine whiskey bottle. This is one of the classic gift ideas for groomsmen. Go with the most well known brands like Jack Daniels, Jim Beam or Johnnie Walker, and not some obscure brands, even if they appear to be better. You should go for the safe choice in these situations. And don’t forget; if you can afford it try to go for the black label, or even a special collector’s edition, to make a real impression.

·        A box of Cuban cigars. Another one of those specific guy gifs, and definitely one of those very good gift ideas for groomsmen. Of course getting a hold on some real Cuban cigars won’t be an easy task, but its definitely going to be worth it. It’s one of those things that only “real men” give to one another. It’s more a statement their manhood than anything else.

·        An old bottle of wine. Alcohol appears for the second time in our list, but let’s be reasonable, it’s pretty important in every guy’s life. And with a real fine bottle of French, Chilean, or Californian wine you can never go wrong. Of course you should only get those with controlled origins, and if you can make sure they are at least 10 year old wines maturated in oak barrels.

·        A suitcases embroidered with he’s favorite sports team logo. This is a gift that only guys could understand. One’s love for their favorite football, baseball, basketball, or soccer team has to be shown to the whole world. And what better way of doing that than getting the logo of your favorite team on the thing you always take with you when you travel. Of course, for a cruel joke you can put the logo of the arch rivals of your groomsmen favorite team on the suitcase but only if you think your man has a sense of humor, because these situations can be very delicate.

·        Season tickets to their favorite team’s games. You might say I’m pushing the envelope with the stereotype of the importance of sports in a guy’s life, but trust me to a very small percentage of guys this is not true. So seasons tickets to their favorite team’s home games, is something you can’t go wrong with.

·        A Swiss army knife. This is a one the best gift ideas for a groomsmen if he is an outdoorsman. And even if he isn’t it can always come in handy. This gadget can make a real difference in a hiking trip. It hasn’t the same dramatic feel of hunting knife but it’s much more practical.

·        A true ownership card to Playboy Incorporated stock. A very funny gift and something that they will appreciate. Of course not the same can be said about the girlfriend or wife of the groomsmen, but if you know they have a sense of humor its ok. It’s one of the great gift ideas for groomsmen, but it has been used already, so it hasn’t the same originality as something you can just come up with.

So here are but a few of the many gift ideas for groomsmen. Remember, your own fresh ideas could probably be much more suited for your groomsmen because you know them better. But if you are running out of time, and are looking for just a bit of inspiration, with everything else regarding wedding preparations swirling around in your head, this list could prove useful. As I said, these are not the ultimate gift ideas, but they have been tried and tested. I only got positive reactions with all of them but you should always be aware of people’s sensitivities and don’t make blunders, like giving a whiskey bottle to a former alcoholic. And remember, the gesture is more important than the gift itself so don’t worry yourself to much about if the gift is right or not. So, hope I could be of help, and have fun at the wedding!
