Without making money or enough to provide at-least a standard shelter for your family issues like inconvenience, conflict/disagreement among couples may arise and for families who are not really making much money and therefore cannot afford even a standard house may have to live in slumps and become exposed to health problems; the kids may become connected to gangsters and so on. So one of the reasons why making money affect relationships is the need for shelter.

b)     Food: Not making money enough to feed your family can affect the family negatively, but making enough can affect them positively.

c)     Clothing: It is important to cover the body mainly to keep warm and prevent dangerous infection from affecting the skin. So without making enough money one may be subject to inconveniences like wearing the same clothes daily, or worn out clothes which can be very embarrassing. It is everyone’s wish to be finely clothed because apart from the protection stuff, it also adds to one’s beauty and social class.

2.        Provides Wants Or Luxuries: These are human wants and according to economy scientist can be overlooked unlike human needs. Statistically, it is said that most of the world population earns $1 daily; a meager income that is not able to meet ones needs not to talk of wants. This shows that there is poverty in the world and it is concentrated in the developing areas. Things that make up wants are: mobile phones, cars, television, camera, furniture, cosmetics, etc. Can you imagine living without these products? Well you will be surprise that a great number of the world population can barely afford their needs not to talk of wants. A good home that requires comfort, peace, growth must have these amenities and that it is why it is relevant to make enough income that will enable one achieve this, if not it will affect relationships negatively.

3.        Money Acquisition: How do making money affect relationships is also sourced from how these monies are acquired. For instance if due to the urge to acquire more income, your spouse had to travel to a far place, long distance relationship problems could affect your relationship negatively by putting s strain on it. Because the father is not always around, the wife is saddled with the sole responsibility of caring for the home while husband is away.
