The only good thing about these siblings is that they can be treated by a little practice and self discipline and a lot can be saved from ruining into bits. Here are some useful tips how to deal with stress and anxiety in our day to day life:

Stay Fit – A regular workout not only helps to keep your muscles fit and fine but also fuels your energy level so that it keeps psychic up and fights well with any unwanted intruders like Stress and Anxiety. Regular exercise keeps your blood pressure and oxygen level maintained and your brain working at its best. This also generates Endorphin chemical in your body which helps it feel good and strong. You feel strong enough to beat any negative thought and hit the pot.

‘A healthy mind rests in a healthy body’ goes the saying. This is a fact. You need to eat healthy food and keep your body full with nutrients every time. Research has proved that Stress, Anxiety, Anger and other similar emotions burns the body cells hence make it more vulnerable to fall in this vicious circle. The right way is to eat well and stay fit.

Sleep Well – It is true that Stress and Anxiety do not let you sleep peacefully. They make much noise in your mind at all the time. But, they may also be the result of insufficient sleep that you might have been depriving your body of for quite some time, may be because of your busy schedule though. Every human being needs at least 6 – 8 hours sleep for normal functioning of the body. If your body has not been getting its right doze of sleep, chances are it will get weaker at some fronts and it will be easy for such negative powers to get over it.

Meditation – is getting very popular as a perfect Stress and Anxiety reliever. The logic is that these techniques help to normalize your blood pressure, improves your heart functioning, which results into better flow of blood and oxygen to your brain and strengthens it to fight with these intruders. Do practice meditation, go for Yoga, Zen or any other technique that you feel comfortable with. It helps very much.

Get Social – Human is social animal. We can’t live alone for long. Sometimes, due to some reasons of course, we do not get an opportunity to share our thoughts, views and worries with others and keep them grinding in our own mind, which, in turn,  makes it bad to worst. Get some friends with whom you can share everything you have in mind. It can be your spouse, family member, friend, colleague or anyone. You need someone to shift the garbage out from your mind. This will certainly lighten the things, show you the silver line, or give you an entire new vision to look at the things.

Tea – Yes, research has suggested that tea works well in stressful situation. In case you are not finding an immediate solution of the situation, order a tea of your choice and sip it down. It will soften the tissues, refresh your mind and give some extra energy to cope with it. You can order another cup, if need be.

Face It – Sometimes we invite Stress and Anxiety without any serious concern. Sometimes they are the result of our procrastination habits and sometimes we just do not want to face the situation, may be out of fear of something unwanted or bad consequences, but this is not a right way to do the things. Closing your eyes will not cover the pit, which you are going to fall in. You will need to face it and find a solution. Sometimes we keep worrying about the things for many days which could have been solved by a minute of confrontation with the situation. The better solution is to face the situation head first and see what you can do best in it. Do not hesitate to ask help from anyone if you think he / she can. Result counts, no matter how you get that.

At last, remember that we are responsible for our Stress and Anxiety. We can say ‘good bye’ to these culprits for ever, if we know how to deal with Stress and Anxiety. Just make it a policy of your life, let nothing dismay you.
