I have always believed that only thing which is personal and permanent in our life is Growth. We grow every day not only physically but through our varied experiences too. Never in our life there is a day that goes by where you have not learnt anything from your environment. Our everyday learning is something which comes naturally and does not involve any extra effort. Yes, It does depends upon an individual on how receptive he is to the environment and that defines their ability to learn and grow in life. Not learning from your experiences in past and improving your life compares to a situation where an individual has not grown at all.
One Part of Personal Growth is what life teaches us. Another part of Personal Growth is what we believe would help us grow in life. It can be a conscious decision to pursue a personal growth goal or it might be something that interests us. But important point remains that it helps us enrich our lives at a better pace. The usual rewards are recognition we get from within and the other notional things which we value that gets attached to it. But the path to Personal Growth is not easy and it is quite a challenge till the time you are committed to make things happen for you.
