I Love My Mother
However hard one may try defining a mother and her role in the society and family, it will be very difficult to come up with an acceptable answer. They mean everything to the child; food, security, protection etc. Ask anyone to tell “why I love my mother,” even a child for that matter, and you will hear scores of words that will leave you wondering. Such is the strong bond between mother and offspring in every living animal including humans. It is a natural instinct in all mammals particularly.
Anywhere up to 60% to 80% of women become mothers at some point of time in their life and there are no exceptions to this rule. Married couples and single women as well spend vast sums of money in fertility clinics when they are unable to give birth to a child through natural process and that in itself is a strong indication of the bondage that develops during the latter years of their life. Having children also provides the much needed security for the mother in her old age that only children can provide. So it is basically a mutually beneficial relationship in which there are no losers.
Here are the many reasons I heard when I asked people, why they love their mother, even about foster mother sometimes, and their reasoning are very interesting.
· My mother is impartial to all her children and treats everyone of them with equal care and love, and respects their individuality, is often the first quality that every child appreciates. Some may say that the mother is particularly fond of her of her first child, but the unusually loving mother treats all her children the same way and ranks top on the reason to say I love my mother.
· I love my mother because she was the one who set my successful path in to my profession. She respects my individuality within the family and was responsible for resolving issues with my sibling; many will say are the reasons for loving their mother so much. I am what I am today; she guided me, educated me and protected me with all her energy and that is the reason I love her more than anything else on this planet.
· My mother is a great listener even while I am boastful of my moderate achievements in school and provides the encouragement to perform better. She was patient even to my most unreasonable demands when I was a child and that is the reason why I love my mother, many have recollected.
· My mother is the most tactful person I have ever known even while she admonishes me for my unbecoming behavior in home or at school is what many have to say is the reason for loving their mother so much.
· I love my mother because she stands up to her beliefs even though many may want her to compromise on her ideals. A strong willed mother is an attractive proposition for most children and is one of the qualities that are widely respected. They have the ability to shower love and command respect as well. This is one of the often repeated reasons for the love they get back from their children.
· I love my mother because she has sacrificed so much for the family; her own parent, brothers and sisters too. How can I not love her, you will hear back if you ever ask someone if they love their mother.
· My mother never argues nor faults with anyone and that includes my father, brothers and sisters. A good mother understands, and mother too was on the same line even during the most trying times. “What more can I ask?”- Many recollect the principal reason for I love my mother attitude this way.
· I found my mother by my side whenever I needed her. She was by my side in success and in failures. She shared all my joys and sorrows equally and never let me feel alone. She always tried to make this realistic, competitive and tough world a better place for me! I know no matter how much I love her will never be enough! That is how many describe their love for their mother.
· I love my mother because that is what I get from her; every day of course. I have never felt that intense love from anyone else of this entire world, not even from my children. Mothers are truly great and unique. I even want to be reborn to her in another avatar, they will add.
Mothers are a special lot; her love for the child begins even while one is in her womb, continues through childhood, into adolescence and middle age and if she is still living around then into old age. It never diminishes even the least bit. That is why everyone proudly says – I love my mother.
