4. Power naps
Taking a break of 15 minutes from work, and closing the eyes to relax is called power nap. It is scientifically proved that power naps are the best ways through which you can relax yourself and get fresh again for a new inning. This power nap will help you relax your mind and provide you some relief from work and more power to start a new one. This technique is also helpful in reducing the stress level of mind. Whenever you feel under pressure, time is running out, work is piling up to a great extent, just take a break and have a power nap of 15 minutes by closing your eyes and without thinking anything. It will surely help in improving employee productivity.
5. Liberty in work
Restrictions lead to dissatisfaction and unsatisfied people can’t do productive task. To help you and to achieve greater productivity in work, one should be free and liberal enough to make his own decisions and should have the liberty to choose his way of working. This will not only help in improving employee productivity but also increase the satisfaction level of the employees.
6. Physical exercise
Physical exercise is the best way out to reduce the level of stress and burden. People find it difficult to manage the stress of work, but physical activities really help in this regard. Power yoga, meditation and simple cardio exercises help in reducing the mental stress and improving employee productivity.
7. Rewarding at the time of evaluation
Evaluation is the vital step of any organization. People are being evaluated on the basis of their performance and depending upon the evaluation, they get appraisal. Many a time the appraisal is in monetary terms only. This is not enough; you should understand that employees need much more than money. Their need after money is recognition. So, awarding them with something that satisfies their recognition needs is a better idea. And this will definitely help in improving employee productivity.
