Positive Character Traits

Humans are defined by the character they exhibit to the outside world. Impression by sight is subject to how people see you, and that largely depends on your character traits. Good and charming disposition is recognized by certain element one manifest, vise versa. The element of characterization is the traits. Positive character traits constitute a different human behavioral tendency that has resulted in great personality and achievements beyond ones imagination. Great people of our time like the great philosophers – Aristotle, Socrates, Plato, Anaximenes; the inventors – Michael faraday; Presidents – President Obama of the United States; Musician – Late Michael Jackson and many others, have exhibited positive character traits that has made them great achievers, people to be reckon with in the society. Greatness is the desires of humans, ask a 3 year old if he would like to be great and you are sure to receive a resounding YES! Why? What does a three year old know about been great?

Man from creation was made to be great and successful, in the time of creation it was recorded that God created man in His own image, He went further to make him master of all his creation and power to have dominion, replenish, and populate the earth. Has this been the case? Have man really exercise God’s divine order? Look around you what do you see? The world has evolved to a great and beautiful place with great inventions here and there, a million years different from the pre-historic time. What do you think is responsible for this? Character! God made humans in his own image, means humans have the character of God, and the requirements (traits) to exude greatness, this are called positive character traits. If human kinds where given drops of character traits, then why are people poor, existing below standards, paupers, why are there hates crimes like: racism, murder, fraud, robbery, hatred, slavery, etc? Surely these are not products of characters traits, what do you think?

Traits Principle:

This is a world of good and bad, God admonishing man to choose good and shun evil confirms this, showing that there is good and bad in the world, while some have tow the way of evil others are in the road of good. This brings us to the first principle of traits, traits is not sensitive. It can be skewed positively, or negatively, the power of choice is what makes the difference. President Obama grew up from a broken home, as a result of color impression he was driven to drug, did this stop him for becoming a success? Certainly not! He came to a point in his life where he had to choose to be great and what is the consequence, he became the first black American president ever. This is an example of positive attitude.

Another principle of traits is that, it attracts result. No matter the choice one made in life there is always a consequence, depending on the choice, if it is good, then you will have good consequence, if it is bad then the consequence will surely be evil. Another instance is Sadam Hussein. The once tyrannical president of Iraq, who leads in the throes of blood shedding, he had his time, but when it was up he was disgraced and eventually killed, the prisons is a major example that projects the consequences of making the wrong choice in life.

Choice is a force that determines ones character or traits disposition. There are different elements of traits some good some bad they are: fear, boldness, courage, weakness, confidence, perseverance, patience, laziness, prudence, efficiency, dedication, carelessness, nonchalance, disobedience, stubbornness, arrogance, dirtiness, procrastination, dirtiness, and a whole lot more. These traits are only put into action if one decides to take one or combination of others, the wrong combination leads to failure, regrets, even death, while the good choice leads to success, positive recognition, respect, and love. Which is your choice?

The Way Forward:

Knowing the kind of character traits will help one to choose the right combination of possible human traits needed to become what he or she desires in live. If it is to be a top professional like Doctors, executives, president, etc, one needs to conduct a research of such attitudes, first by picking a model. If your dream is to become another black American president, make president Obama your model, research about him, pick out the traits that enables him to be who he is, and follow it, your inspiration should be “if he can I can”.

Parenting is a too that can help to generate character traits in their children, what you invest in your children is what you will get. Remember quality in quality out; if you are never there for your children, didn’t show love, care, educate them, and neglect them, then know that you may have probably raised a monster, the worst people on earth have such background.

Positive character traits are chosen out of positive character elements that sure lead to positive consequences and vise versa.
