There are two forces that control the world – the forces of good and evil. Good and evil or good and bad are direct products of positive and negative. When one display positive characteristics, it often brings about good result likewise, if it is negative traits, the consequences are mostly evil. To wield power, become a personality or the opposite, maybe a killer, a serial one at that, to spend a lifetime in jail, become a bone in everyone’s throat, manifesting positives and negatives traits respectively will enable one achieve this goal. Do you know that originally the purpose of God creating this world was to produce only positive things? He had only good things like: love, good health, success, convenience, promotion, good marriage and all you ever wish for in life in mind when he created the world. So where did negativity come from? “Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea, the devil has come down to you, having a great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.” (AKJ – Revelation 12. 12b) All good things come from God, evil from the devil and they are all constituent of positives and negatives of life.

The Origin of good and evil

Do you know the origin of good and evil or positives and negatives? Well, so many people may have a lot of things to say about this, many may simply tell you the unbelievable tale that there are no evil, but the same people accept there is good – talk about self deception. The truth is there is good and evil and the origin of good and evil are controlled by two prominent forces – God and the devil. Whether you believe it or not, it exist, since there are no known, logical explanations to the source except from the one found in the bible – the word of God, it shall therefore be used as an explanation.

God created heavens and the earth, and after His creation He declared all things as Good and when Man was created “very good.” So all things where created to be in positive side of life, in the verse quoted in the introduction part of this article from the authorized King James version (AKJ – Revelation 12.12b) the Angles lamented and mourned on behalf of the earth, the casting down of the devil into the earth, and in the proceeding chapter, one of his mission was displayed and this goes to confirm his mission on earth. Another chapter in the bible summarizes the work of the devil as to kill and destroy all that is good. Remember, God created the earth and said it is good, the devil forges ahead to destroy all that is good and that makes him evil and God good right? And since Good and evil are products of positives and negatives that means all positive things is a direct product from God and vise versa. So the question now is, what are the positives and negatives of life and their relevance to man?

Positives and negatives of life and relevance

The positives of life are: success, self esteem, promotion, love, loyalty, patience, tolerance, mutual respect, kindness, goodness, positive criticism, high self esteem, generosity, encouraging others, rendering an helping hand to your friends, neighbors and all those in need, peace, good health, fulfillment, and all other good things of life. How do these traits add up to positiveness? To explain this, one or two out of the above list will be use as an example.

Peace: Peace is a state of satisfaction, quietness, tranquility, calm, and happiness. When there is peace, there will be no fighting, bloodshed, high blood pressure related sicknesses, people will not be refugees in their country and elsewhere, no hatred, murder etc.

Love: Lack of peace is as a result of the absence of love, patience, and tolerance. So to have peace, there must be love, tolerance and patience. It was due to intolerance that racism, tribalism, segregation and slavery existed and unfortunately still exists in this world. Instead of people to show love to the disadvantage, other people’s culture, they exhibit intolerance by allowing the wind of pride and arrogance to blow in racism, religious crisis, cultural intolerance, slavery and others.

Negatives of life:

Another major element in the negatives and positives of life is the opposite of positive and that is evil manifesting in: hatred, chaos, murder, intolerance, stinginess, negative criticism, complex, etc.  Showing or having complexity could lead to many evil consequences like: serial killing, rebellion, lack of self esteem, failures, backwardness etc.

The positives and negatives of life are committed by man. Therefore to make things work in the society, one need to be more positive than negative and this needs one to make conscious towards goodness.
