Avoid Having So Much Hatred In Life
So many people in the world today are living with the burden of hatred. Wondering why hatred is a burden? Hatred is an extreme feeling of dislike for someone or something and it often comes as a result of ill-treatment in the past by someone, maybe: friends, family spouse, boyfriend, business colleagues, and what have you. There is so much hatred in the world today, mostly because people unthinkingly commits evil and for this reason are hated for their effort. In some circumstance, the feeling of hatred might not be derived from past wrong, it just from a dark place within and flows out against an unsuspecting, ignorant individual who knows little of the intense feeling of dislike he or she has invoked from the hater. All things considered, can one be justified for harboring hatred even if it is based on past wrongs? Is there a possible consequence against haters, is it ethical to possess so much hatred against someone, even if you where obviously wronged?
Hated and haters- Hate is a bad feeling and as all bad things goes, nothing good could possibly comes out of manifesting hatred towards another, not even if the person (the hated) seem to deserve it. It is very bad indeed to be a recipient of evil habit; some can be bad enough to generate intense feelings of dislike so much that he or she (the hater) will swear an oat of vengeance against the offender. Take this instance for example, a lady finds her best friend in bed with her husband, the feeling of betrayal, deception, and all, can invoke hatred against that husband and friend. What if after working with a partner over a business contract, lost the contract and later find out that the partner actually siphoned the contract for a personal business he had kept secret all this while. Another condition that could trigger deep hatred is between a boyfriend and girlfriend, maybe after undergoing several abortions, the lady is rendered infertile and instead of marrying this girlfriend the faithless boyfriend marries another girl, what will be the outcome – so much hatred. The list of hatred triggers are very numerous and considering the pains; grief, betrayal, deception, anger, that comes with it, one is left to no alternative except to hate, here lies the dilemma of a hater to the hated. In your own candid opinion, considering the scenarios mentioned above, would you blame the hater for hating?
No one blames anyone for hating but the hated for hating, because it takes deep hatred to do evil against another person. Inasmuch as, one is not blamed for hating, it is nevertheless wise to avoid it, because if the feeling go on for too long, it might bring about many unpalatable consequences like: bad health condition, thirst for vengeance, and unforgiving spirit. These consequences might look harmless, but they are not, actually it is a simple condition that could lead to very complex ones.
Consequences of so much hatred- When one feels so much hatred towards another person who may probably deserve it, the hater comes under an external influence, which if not dealt with immediately can become obsessive, very hard to control, senseless, and intoxicating. At this point one has lost control; no longer in charge of his or her senses and thus subjected to mistakes and the number one in the list is un-forgiveness.
Unforgiving spirit- When one is filled with so much hatred he or she is susceptible to a lot of things – good or bad implements that could be use to execute hatred and vengeance. He or she wants to fight and could employ any device to execute the desires. Unforgiving spirit makes one unhappy, depressed, ever thinking of destroying than building thus making one think of nothing but vengeance leaving all other relevant redundant and stagnant.
Health condition- Hatred can lead to conditions like depression, high blood pressure, obesity, obsession, and heart problems.
Vengeance- Executing vengeance could lead to complicated repercussions such as committing heinous crimes like: murder, and other bad criminal acts.
From these illustrations it is clear that harboring so much hatred is not good and as such one should endeavor to avoid hatred in life.
