Surprising Your Spouse

Marriage is one of the biggest responsibilities that come your way. It is one of the best things that ever happen to you too. Apart from some unfortunate couples, we all find out that marriage was indeed made in heaven. Surprising your spouse is one of the things that help you taste a hint of it on earth. Although a divine relationship in nature, marriages often become complicated, boring and routine responsibility. Such complications can get your relationship even at stake. You definitely do not want to taste such things at all. In order to keep your relationship fresh, lovely and worth craving, you can play a very important role. It is often the problem that after living under the same roof for so many years, you two often become so much predictable to each other, that each of you start finding the other a bit boring. There is no shame in accepting the fact that, these are the times when people start finding other companies more desirable. This should not be the case if you want to have a happy and secure future ahead. So, what can you do? In order to keep yourself away from being a predictable one, you should often try and surprise your spouse. We all love surprises, and if you can impose this surprise at the right point, you will see and feel the change soon.

When I say surprising your spouse, I do not necessarily mean that you do something big and expensive. You do not have to be someone very rich who can afford to buy a new car just as a surprise! No, you do not really have to show off money in the form of surprise. All you need is a little effort, wrapped in love to present to your spouse. Some of the things that will take your spouse by surprise are given below:

· If you are both working individuals and are very busy to see each other before the end of the day, then one lovely surprise would be to show up at your spouse’s office during lunch or at the end of office hours to pick him/her up. If you have a bunch of flowers in your hand that will just add to the romance between you two.

· At least once a week, you should go together for a movie or a dinner or both. In order to make these things a little hit up, you can arrange for champagne at times that follow the dinner or you can run for a movie premiere say at 3 am in the morning. One of the easiest ways of surprising your spouse is that you can go for a movie that features your spouse’s favorite movie start even if you are not very fond of the person yourself. This will imply two things, first of all, of course the surprise and secondly, it will send a strong signal to your spouse that you care for him/her so much that you are willing to let go of your preferences and make compromises that makes your spouse happy.

· Go on a short weekend trip. You do not always have to go far away or some expensive place. You can just go to some nearby place that gives out a vibe of romance. Apart from surprising your spouse, you will be able to take the load of monotony off his/her shoulders too of everyday routine life.

· Cook your spouse’s favorite food even if it requires you to go throughout quite some cumbersome processes. Exclude your children for the night (may be leave them at a relative’s space), arrange a candle lit dinner and enjoy the night.

· You can surprise your spouse easily by sending them a text writing how much you love or miss them. After living together for so many years, the number of occasions where you tell him/her that you love them becomes scarce. A short message with the three magic words will create magic.

So, you can see surprising your spouse is not that hard. All you need is some effort at the right time. We often take the person living with us for granted. We forget that it is our duty to keep them content and take care of their happiness. Surprising your spouse occasionally is one of the things that convey to them all that you feel for them. So, you should really not hesitate to take these apparently worthless little steps in surprising your spouse. The way his/her face lights up after seeing the surprise will be a good surprise for you too!
