Human beings by their inherent nature believe in the concept of entitlement and it becomes very difficult for them to cultivate the habit of gratitude. What we achieve in life depends a lot on the effort we put but our happiness directly relates to whether we are contented with various things in our life or not. Gratitude shows us the path where we develop the habit to appreciate what we have and value it.
Life is a journey and we all are always on our top gear. Our wishes gyrate from one extreme to another. The value of things in our lives has become minimal and this is the reason that happiness fades as quickly as it comes to us. This attitude is miles away from that of gratitude and it always seed inside us a feeling of
1) Discontent
2) Hollowness
3) Incompleteness
We are always on lookout for
1) Something more
2) Something that brings peace to us
