Tips For Stressed Out People


Before going into tips let us understand what is stress? Stress is nothing but importance given to a particular thing and the failure or helplessness to do it. This is an external force which affects our mind and also our physical strength. Sometimes some stresses are very unnecessary. In fact any stress is necessary only to an extent a person can bear. However we have to understand that any stress necessary or unnecessary should be under the control of the person’s mind and discretion.

 

Here Are Some Tips For Stressed Out People:

Meditation: Yoga and meditation is the best exercise a  stressed out person’s mind and body can have. Most psychologists now-a-days suggest meditation as the best remedy for removing and reducing stress. The fast paced world is definitely experiencing stress at different places; like work place, home. Stress is even affecting children in school also. With meditation a person’s mind comes under his control. Because when a person is meditating, his sub conscious mind becomes active. In our day to day activities sub conscious mind does not take part. It only remembers very few things. We generally tend to foresee them. So during meditation this sub conscious mind has the power to reduce the stress we are undergoing.

 

Physical exercise: Physical exercise is another medium to reduce stress for stressed out people. This is because physical exercise makes our body to strain. When our body is completely dull or strained, we do not consider what ever our brain tells us. We almost tend to sleep doing nothing. Some generally wake up very active after rigorous physical exercise.

 

Talking And Spending Time With Friends Or Spouse: When above given two tips are not encouraging, then talking with friends or spouse makes a hell lot of difference. Sharing always reduces a person’s stress. Sometimes sharing stress, we tend to get idea on how to solve the problem or it may also happen that the person listening to us might give an idea. (Because only when not able to resolve problems we tend to get stressed up) finally we will be relieved that our problem is solved to an extent.

 

Spending Time With Kids: Kids are very innocent beings. Listening to their talk or seeing their actions makes any stone hearted person put a smile on his face. Spending time with kids can be stress relieving for stressed out people.

 

Reading Books: Books on autobiographies of prominent persons or comics or any book can be stress relieving. When a person starts reading a book, at one point of time he gets involved completely in it and forgets outside at least for a moment. That can be very stress relieving. Sometimes it gives confidence provided if that stress is related to some matter concerning any work which is very hard to complete.

 

Listen To Music: It is always said that music is a wonderful therapy for any kind of disease. If that is stress, this is the most wonderful medicine. Interesting thing is that music is not only stress relieving but also peaceful to mind and soul. Music with a strong beat can stimulate the brain waves to follow the beat resulting in more alert thinking and sharper concentration. On the contrary slower music can help in meditation. Generally over stress can lead to mental tension, sometimes depression and anxiety. Listening to music can help preventing all these by keeping the optimistic levels high. End result is stressed out person’s mind is relieved.

 

Sleeping: Some people feel relieved when they sleep. These people go for sleeping when they feel more work load stress or any other kind of stress. And there are positive results of stress relief from these people. Sleeping gives our mind some rest and a sort of interval period for it to start functioning more efficiently. So sleeping can also be stress relieving for stressed out people.

 

Self Counseling: Some stressed out people go in for interlinked thoughts which are very unnecessary. At that time become alert and start counseling yourself. Any unnecessary thought entering your mind, put a stop to it by saying to yourself that, that problem is not mine; and even if it mine there is a better way to solve it rather sitting idle and thinking for hours. Always say to yourself that I have a better way to deal with things. And in the process of dealing things I will not give a chance of depression, negativity or anxiety to enter my mind or my work. By doing this you will definitely be taxing your mind but after some time you will definitely feel relaxed.

Walking: Most people when they are under stress start brisk walking. And during this period they tend to think how to resolve the issue. This will also be helpful in relieving stress.

 

Watching a humorous movie: For some doing all these might not be helpful; because they cannot concentrate or sleep or counsel themselves or read books. For those stressed out people watching a humorous movie can be stress relieving.

 

Gist: Stress can be of various reasons and various factors. But a stressed out person has to find ways to deal with it. Most important is that a person should not become a victim of stress by going into its clutches. This can lead into depression; which results in the productivity of the person becoming low. This can also lead into a change in the nature or attitude of the person. Dealing stress and reducing it will make the person look at life in a positive manner and bring him success.
