Why You Should Not Leave Your Job

If you do not like your job and thinking about leaving your job then let me tell you that you are not alone. There are many who want to quit their job but there are some reasons why you should not leave your job. You need to have enough money saving and enough job options before you leave your job. In this economy it is hard enough to get a job and it will not be a wise idea to leave your job without any plans. Let me give you some reasons for why you should not leave your job:

·        When you do not have any other job options available to you: If you are tired of your job and you cannot even stand a day but you do not have any other option available to you then it is advisable that you stick to your tiring job because nothing could worse than being jobless in this economy. If you get job offers from other companies then it is safe to leave your job but do not make the mistake of leaving your job just after giving an interview. Sometimes you might not be offered a job even after giving a brilliant interview because you do not know the performance of your competitors. So, do not take any hasty actions. There are plenty of people just like you who are doing a job they hate but stick to it and keep searching for a better job. Until then do not leave your job!

·        If your financials are in a tough position: It is unnecessary to tell you not to leave your job when you are not in a good position financially. Still I am telling this because these days many your professionals get frustrated with their jobs easily and leave their jobs without thinking about the consequences. Think about the student loan you have to pay and also think about the current competitive job sector. Do not lose hope just keep trying to find another suitable job for you and then you can think about leaving your job.

·        When you do not have a solid business plan: Many professionals leave their job because they want to start a business of their own. It is great that you want to become an independent worker but it is also essential to take steps with caution. Do your market research and talk with a job counselor before quitting your job. Maybe you think that you have a brilliant business idea but the reality can be opposite. So talk with market experts and also do your own analysis. It is always safe to save enough money and ask for a loan when starting a new business. Do not use all your savings in to your new business at once. Make sure you have a solid business plan and think thoroughly about every aspect f your business. If you think you can do it and you have the capital to support your plan then you can leave your job.

·        When you are the only earner of your family: If you are the sole earner of your family then you should think twice before leaving your job. I have seen very people who are actually happy with their jobs. It becomes our habit to complain about our jobs and we always think that a new job can change everything but we forget that the new job can have the same issues like long hours, competitive peers or a boss who is always breathing on your neck! Sometimes we forget that a new job may change some things but they can cause even more difficulties in our lives that our current job. So, think hard before leaving your job just because you have some issues.

If your job is paying you the right amount of salary and you do not have to spend long hours at your office then I think you should not think about leaving your job. If you can spend enough time with your family members and are being paid similar amount like others who are in the same position in different companies then I think you should be happy about your job. If the working environment gets too hostile for you or you can not mentally adjust yourself to your work environment then you should talk with a counselor before leaving your job. The economy is going through a tough time and it should be a major reason why you should not leave your job without having any back-up plan.
